Cecilia Smith is a highly skilled Jazz musician, known for her virtuosity on the vibes. She has released six albums as a leader, collaborating with Jazz luminaries such as Gary Bartz and Donald Harrison. In addition to her musical talents, Smith is celebrated as an innovative artist, honored with the Joyce Foundation Award for her groundbreaking multimedia project, “Crossing Bridges”. As the Artistic Director of the Mary Lou Williams Resurgence Project, Smith preserves Williams' legacy.
